Plane Prototype History:
The KJ-600 Is China' S First Independently Developed Shipborne Early Warning Aircraft. It Is Equipped With A Large Active Phased Array (Aesa) Radar That Can Detect Stealth Aircraft Such As The US F-22 And F-35 Fighter Jets. The Test Flight And Development Of KJ-600 Began In 2018, With Its Maiden Flight In August 2019 And Routine Pre Service Testing Conducted In Xian On January 27, 2021. Its Performance Features Include: The Radar System Can Expand The Detection And Tracking Range, Providing China With Stronger Situational Awareness And Understanding Of Upcoming Threats. Compared To Other Carrier Based Aircraft, The KJ-600 Can Complete The Majority Of Test Flight Projects On Land. From Some Analysis, It Follows The Electronic Scanning Technology System Of KJ-2000 And KJ500 Early Warning Aircraft, And Can Complete 360 Degree Scanning Without Rotating The Plate. The Early Warning Aircraft Is Equipped With A Digital Array Radar And Auxiliary Scanning System, Which Has Wide And Long-Range Detection And Search Capabilities.
