Plane Prototype History:
The Avro Vulcan Bomber Was A Strategic Bomber Developed By The Former Hawker Siddeley Company In The Late 1940s. It Was One Of The Three Strategic Bombers Equipped By The British Air Force After World War II, The Other Two Being The Warrior Bomber And The Victorious Bomber. The "Vulcan" Strategic Bomber Is A Delta Wing, No Flat Tail, Single Tail Bomber. It Was Developed In 1947 And The First Prototype Was First Tested In August 1952. The Production Model Was Put Into Use In The Summer Of 1956 And Retired In 1991. In July 2015, The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Display Team Of The Red Arrows And The Vulcan Bomber Formed An Aerial Formation And Flew Alongside Them Over Gloucestershire, Marking The Final Performance Of The Vulcan Bomber. Due To Difficulties In Raising Maintenance Funds And Other Reasons, The Vulcan Bomber Will Be Grounded After This Air Show.
