Thought to be Galvanised Metal 
Overpainted Green / red - good rustic look but could probably be polished off with fine wire wool - peeling in places as shown

6 pointed Star / B makers mark on base .

NO ROSE - screw thread on spout 
Capacity UNKNOWN - quite small - suit Greenhouse etc 
16.8cm tall to rim.
17cm across base 

Some dings and dents from use - not major 

Great little useable item with character - suit retro Garden Shed / Patio display 
Not holed so appears to be useable item
