Overhauled SONY WALKMAN WM-3 Stereo Cassette Player
This is the WM-3, the successor to the original SONY Walkman TPS-L2. It was known as the Walkman Deluxe. While retaining the design of the TPS-L2, it was a high-end model with improved audio output and support for metal tapes. It uses solid components, resulting in high-quality sound.
It operates on two AA batteries.

It boasts high sound quality and is extremely rare. There is almost no sound fluctuation or excessive noise, which are common with cassettes. It produces a powerful and excellent sound. The built-in hotline is also working.

Before listing, this fully functional cassette player underwent a complete overhaul, including cleaning, restoration, replacement of drive system parts, and sound adjustments—all essential for continued use.
Basic cleaning of the interior and exterior, cleaning of mechanical parts, reassembly, replacement of the main belt, cleaning of the earphone jack, cleaning and mirror finishing of the head section, replacement and cleaning of rollers with good quality parts. Cleaning of volume components. Motor restoration work. Azimuth adjustment, speed adjustment.
Measuring instruments are used for speed adjustment, wow and flutter measurement, and azimuth adjustment. Appropriate chemicals and oils are used in the repair process.
