Item Description :

This is an antique Japanese pottery vase, which was made by a great potter, the 2nd Otagaki Rengetsu, Koryo Kuroda around the end of the 19th century, about 130-140 years ago.

Poet is carved on the body.

Koryo Kuroda was a pupil of Rengetsu Otagaki. After Rengetsu Otagaki passed away, he will succeed the 2nd Otagaki Rengetsu.  

The seal of the potter "DAINIHON KORYO" is stamped on the body.
