1) ITEM DESCRIPTION
Condition : As shown in the picture, it's very good condition. No chips, No cracks.
This is an antique Japanese porcelain tea bowl of Minpei ware, which was made by a great potter, Kashu Minpei (1795-1871) around the middle of the 19th century (about 160-170 years ago).
Several kinds of colorful decorative seashells are hand painted.
The seal of the potter is stampd on the bottom. The wooden storage box with the signature of his kiln name is also included.
Minpei ware has been made in Awaji Island, Hyogo prefecture, Japan since around the middle of the 19th century.
