This is a vintage Japanese high-class lacquered wooden incense case, which was made by the 1st class artisan, Sotetsu Nakamura about 30 years ago.
This is made of natural wood, and coated with high quality Japanese lacquer.
The signature of the artisan is written on the bottom. The original wooden box with the signature of the artisan and with a note of authentification of Jimyosai, the head master of the 14th generation of Omote Senke, Sosa Sen (JIMYOSAI) is also included.
The value of the item with the signature of JIMYOSAI is increased so much. z
