Item Description :

This is a vintage Japanese porcelain Sake cup of Kutani ware, which was made by the 1st class potter, the 2nd Yasokichi Tokuda (1907-1990) about 45 years ago.

He is a great potter, who was designated as a Human Cultural Treasure from Ishikawa prefecture, Japan in 1975. 

A pair of chicken are hand-painted on the cup.

The signature of the potter is written on the bottom.  The original wooden box with the signature of the potter and his profile are also included.
