Item Description :

This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden square tea tray (tea plate), 'Shiho-bon', which was made about 50 years ago.

Birds with flowers are hand-painted on the 4 edges by Maki-e technique.

This is made of natural wood coated with lacquer (Not plastic or resin one).
