1) ITEM DESCRIPTION
Condition : As shown in the picture, it's very good condition. No chips, No cracks.
This is a vintage Japanese hand-shaped pottery tea bowl of Iga Ware, which was made by a great potter, Takashi Tanimoto about 30 years ago.
The signature of the potter is carved on the bottom. The wooden storage box (no signature) is also included.
Iga ware has been made in Mie prefecture, Japan. It is very similar with Shigaraki ware, as the both locations are very close, and use the same pottery clay.
