Here is a good core rebuildable 2V "Motorcraft" Autolite style carb. No part number markings on the castings and no tag, and the part number/date code on the throttle base is "1MLA" which is likely to mean 1971, but not certain if the rest is decipherable to car line or month of manufacture.
This could fit anything from 1965-1972, 289 302 351 352 390 Mustang, Cougar, F100, F150, F250 but you will need to check out the internals to be certain. Casting is marked "1.21" in circle on left side. Not sure what this means. Bores are 1.675" in diameter.
Throttle action is smooth still, blades are clean still but top of choke blade has some surface rust on it from storage. It has been stored indoors under cover most of the time that I have had it, which is at least 10 years!
It has an automatic exhaust heat activated choke assy on it. There is no fuel filter, which threads into the front. Provision for automatic trans kickdown linkage is also present if needed.
The fuel pump diaphragm and other rubber parts will need to be looked at and verified for operation. This is a good core carb but will need a kit and good cleaning to refresh it.
Could be a nice easy rebuild for someone if your car or truck is giving you grief or missing parts!
If you have any questions, please ask, but check out the pictures carefully. I know not much more about this other than what I can see as I did not have it on any of my vehicles and can't recall where it came from....likely in a box with some other stuff!
