Magnum Photos is an international photographic cooperative owned by its photographer-members, with offices in New York City, Paris, London and Tokyo. It was founded in Paris in 1947. This gorgeous piece of photographic art was sold during their "Works of Imagination" sale, in cooperation with Aperture that was held for seven days in October of 2020. Prints were limited in number to only the prints sold during these seven days (though not physically numbered). We have had it professionally matted and framed with UV Plexi and all archival materials.
From Graciela Iturbide - “Wandering led me to a warehouse in Rio de Janeiro, where I found objects from Carnival and very strange images caught my attention. They reminded me of Salvador Dalí. It was a wonderful world, and this is the first time I am publishing this photo.”

More about Graciela Iturbide - Graciela Iturbide (born May 16, 1942) is a Mexican photographer. Amongst other awards she has won a Guggenheim Fellowship and her work has been exhibited internationally, and is included in many major museum collections such as the MOMA New York, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, LACMA, Centre Georges Pompidou Paris and The J. Paul Getty Museum.
