Vintage Chinese Auspicious Symbols Coral Pink Silk Damask Reversible Black Jacket

This vintage Chinese auspicious symbols coral pink silk damask black reversible jacket dates from the 1940s. It is made of a luxurious coral pink color silk satin damask jacquard weave fabric with woven auspicious symbols of a fan, double gourd and the Shou with wan symbol for longevity. This beautiful jacket is reversible with a plain black silk lining inside, both fabric sides having quilted stitching details, crescent shaped slit pockets, snap closures with a fold over wrap V front neckline, loose fitting short robe style, with slight shoulder padding, long full sleeves and wide cuffs. The jacket measures 27 inches long, with a 38 inch chest, 40 inch waist, 15 inch back and 21 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of quality custom made Hong Kong tailored made Chinese wearable art!
