Jerome & Co. Horolovar flying pendulum mantel clock housed in an attractive mahogany-finished case with brass-tone bezel, decorative rosettes, and claw feet. Features a Roman numeral dial marked "PAT'D OCT 9TH 1883" along with the Jerome & Co. trademark. The exposed flying pendulum mechanism mounted above the case creates the distinctive illusion of a freely floating pendulum in motion.

The rear brass plate is marked "Horolovar" and "The Horolovar Co., Bronxville, New York, Made in Germany." Includes the winding key.

The flying pendulum mechanism is operating; however, the movement has not been tested for long-term accuracy or continuous operation. Calibration, adjustment, cleaning, or servicing may be required before regular use. Presents well for display with attractive vintage styling and period-inspired design.
