3.9" Polychrome Jasper polished standup display stone from Madagascar. This freeform display piece has been cut flat on the bottom, allowing the piece to stand on its own nicely. This aesthetic piece is carved from amazingly colored and patterned Polychrome Jasper. Also known as Desert Jasper, this form of Jasper was first discovered by geologists in 2006 while searching for the then mined out Ocean Jasper in Madagascar. Polychrome simply means "multi-colored", appropriately named with the plethora of different colors seen in the stone. Piece weighs over 1 1/2 lbs. A beautiful Polychrome Jasper polished stone perfect for display.
