BIDDING ON MULTIPLE LOTS

If you are bidding on multiple lots please DO NOT PAY FOR EACH ITEM INDIVIDUALLY. We kindly ask that you wait for, or request a combined invoice when you have finished bidding.

A single combined invoice saves time, paper, admin costs, as well as lower postage costs and reduced eBay fees. This principal applies even if you are bidding on lots over many days. Just drop us a note to confirm that you are interested in bidding on some future lots and we will hold everything for you. When you have finished bidding let us know and a combined invoice will sent by return. eBay allows up to 40 items or lots to be combined on a single invoice.

eBay Policy change suggests that all items purchased should be paid for within four days of the sale ending. However, this rule can be extended so long as the buyer and seller have agreed that waiting a while longer for payment is in the best interest of both parties.

DELAYED DISPATCH OF ORDERS FOR BUYERS WHO ARE AWAY FROM HOME

If you win an item(s) whilst away from home and wish us to hold the dispatch date until you return then please DO NOT PAY immediately. If you do pay whilst away eBay will expect us to send the package within a day of receiving your payment. We actually get penalised by eBay for late dispatch even if the buyer asks us to delay shipment. This does happen now and again and if more than 3.00% of orders get dispatched late then eBay can remove the sellers 'Top-Rated' status.

Action: Let us know that you are away from home and we will be happy to wait for payment. You can send payment when you return, or perhaps the day before you return for faster dispatch.


NON-PAYMENT AND NO COMMUNICATION FOLLOWING A SALE

As mentioned above eBay expect items to be paid for within four days of the item being sold unless communications between the buyer and seller agreed otherwise. However, in situations where, after four days, there has been no communication or payment made from the buyer then the transaction can be cancelled by the seller and a NON PAYMENT CASE RECORDED on the non payers account. We ask eBay users to avoid this situation. Please be aware that eBay do take action against non paying users.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS

We only ship items overseas using eBay's Global Shipping Program. This means we no longer have any say over the creation of International invoices or the additional charges which can be added, such as insurance, import duty etc. Any additinial fees to the sale price are a legal requirement and cannot be edited. We are unable to change or influence anything. Invoicing is handled by eBay's specialist UK agent based in Lichfield, England.

The reason for this decision is that roughly 90% of what we sell on ebay is sold on behalf of third party clients. We provide a selling service for various clients on a low commission basis. If an item goes missing we still have to pay our client the proceeds from the sale. This is why every package must be fully insured. The eBay Shipping Program is the only service that provides full financial cover for valuable items.

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO PAY THE FULL SHIPPING COST QUOTED OR REQUESTED BY EBAY

Step 1: We send item(s) to eBay's UK hub to be processed for the onward journey to the buyer. Once delivered to the UK hub the package becomes the sole responsibility of eBay to ensure the package is delivered to the buyer.

Step 2: eBay's shipping Team create the paperwork and send the package to the buyer.
Non delivery becomes an eBay issue which is fully dealt with 10 days after a case is opened.

Please note that shipment fees are higher because they include Tracked and Signed Delivery, FULL Financial Insurance (for both buyer and seller) plus where applicable VAT/Sales Tax. On top of that there can also be Import Duty added depending on the specific rules which are in applicable in the buyers Country.
No other shipping service provider gives this level of no quibble cover.

In just two months buyers have been refunded almost £10,000 which may have been lost otherwise if items were shipped by normal airmail services.

NOTE: MULTIPLE ITEMS CAN BE COMBINED INTO A SINGLE PACKAGE BUT THIS DOES NOT REDUCE THE POSTAGE COST AS MOST OF THE FEE GOES ON INSURANCE COVER ATTRIBUTED TO A MORE EXPENSIVE AND HEAVIER OVERALL PACKAGE.
