A superb rare color print of William Gottlieb's photograph of Frank Sinatra at Liederkrantz Hall in New York City, circa 1947. This print was signed and titled twice by Gottlieb, on both the front and back.
Legendary jazz photographer Gottlieb (1917-2006) shot virtually exclusively in black and white, and this is one of his only color photographs.
This heavyweight hand printed photograph, on Kodak Professional Paper, has Gottlieb's handwritten 'Frank Sinatra' and signature on the front and back, along with his studio and credit stamps on the back. While undated, this is not a vintage print, though it is the only color Gottlieb photograph we have seen for sale.
8" x 10", in Mint condition.
