We were fortunate to acquire a collection of camera we will be listing over the next couple of weeks. Lots of interesting 35mm and other formats including some nice Leica and Canon rangefinders.

This camera is a Nikon Photomic Big Eye Second Version with a Nikkor 50mm f:1.4 lens mounted on it. The original manual is included and it is covered in leather. There is a Nikon filter on the lens and the empty case is included. The camera shutter functions well and the shutter curtains look good, I have pictured them open and closed. A few marks to the mirror and there is some dust in the prism. I have not cleaned it. The meter does not seem responsive at all. Likely dead. The camera is cosmetically just good with some brassing to the black paint and scratches and marks to the chrome. It’s a good useful slr camera. The lens has nice glass and good aperture rings and blades. There is some dust and minor haze in the lens. Please see the detailed pics. I have not film tested the camera.

The leather case is a bit rough.

I’ve taken pics of the lens through three different light sources, a white background, a normal scene and a pinpoint light from a phone. Please see the detailed pics for a complete view of the condition of the glass. It’s a nice lens. Have a look at the others from this group please.
