For those who have an AH-4, you already know what a great tuner this is. The ICOM AH--4 is perfect for longwires, inverted "L", verticals, etc. You just need to be able to use the tuner further away than the OEM 5m cable will allow!
Your OEM cable is only 5M (16.4 ft) long. How can you use that?
If you buy our 5M (16.4 ft) control cable extension version, then you should use 30-35 feet of coax (coax not included)
If you buy our 15M (50 ft) control cable extension version, then 65-75 feet of coax would be perfect (coax not included)
I use my AH-4 at my base station with an IC-7100 and IC-7300 and I have one for portable as well. I had a need for a longer control cable and figured you do too!.
