According to my Uncle's records, this Model 1200B was rebuilt / refurbished in April 2012 (there are pictures of the work done in his records).  In reviewing the pictures, it looks like following work was done:

All capacitors were replaced on all of the Circuit Boards

Primary Power Supply Capacitors were replaced

The Primary Power Supply Board was rebuilt and a new relay was installed

The Output Transistors were replaced (8)

Some small signal Transistors were replaced

Flaws:

2 of the AC Power Sockets on the back of the 1200B have chips in the plastic Socket Bodies (does not seem to effect the use of the sockets)

There is some very, very slight wear on the bottom and top edge of the Aluminum Faceplate (which you really can't see much when it's in the Wood Case) The "Mode" labeling is about 50% worn off

The special Marantz "Pre-Amp Out ~ Amp-In" jumper connectors are missing (he used RCA Cables for these connections)

The Top Cover is missing - This may have been removed to improve vetilation when it's in the Wood case

There are No Feet - The feet have to be removed when it's in the Wood Case (the feet were probably lost in his "stuff')

The 4 small wood screws that hold the 1200B Faceplate to the WC1 Wood case are missing

WC1 Wood Case

The WC1 Wood case in in very good condition.  Its Oak Veneer is almost flawless without any nicks or gouges (that I can see).  It has all 4 of its original feet and the top Metal Mesh is well finished without any damage.

Overall Condition
As with all of my Uncle's equipment, this Model 1200B has been well cared for.  The Faceplate is not quite perfect There are are no bends or scratches and all of the silkscreened labeling is clear and not worn away, except for the "Mode" labeling. There is some small amount of wear on the very bottom and top edge of the Faceplate (this is not really noticeable when it's in the Wood Case).  There seems to be some small amount of "cross-talk" between the different audio inputs (tuner ~ aux1 ~ aux2 etc.) It seems that this is not uncommon for the 1200B. I found a mention of it on the AudioKarma discussion forum and apparently there is a Marantz Service Bulletin for this.

Initial Testing

As far as I can tell this Model 1200B was "out-of-rotation" for about 8 years (he had lots of equipment). I removed the 1200B From the Wood Case and did a quick visual inspection, everything looked correct - I connected a pair of Bose 201 Speakers (not included) - I connected a Stereo RCA to 3.5mm audio cable to the Aux1 Input - Upon power up the Protection relay "clicked" close after about 5 seconds - I operated all of the Controls, they all move freely. The Sliding "Tone Controls" move freely - I connected the audio input cable to a MP3 player and the Model 1200B played correctly on both channels the very first time (sounds really nice)

Shipping

This Model 1200B is very big and very heavy (weight 36 pounds). It will be Double-Boxed and Shipped in an outer box that measures around 24" x 24" x 24" - There will be lots of heavy-duty bubble-wrap and preformed "cardboard corners" around the aluminum faceplate to prevent it from getting damaged during shipping (I see this type of damage is fairly common on poorly packaged items)

Since the 1200B includes an original Marantz WC1 Wood Case, this will need to be boxed separately from the 1200B, which will increase the shipping costs.  This is necessary due to the overall weight of the 1200B and the somewhat fragile nature of the Wood Case

Things to Consider

This Model 1200B is about 51 years old +/-.  It has been well cared for by my uncle over the years. But, it is still 51 years old.  As with any Vintage Electronics, there may be some things that need to be addressed after you have had it for a while.  If you are considering buying this, simply put - "No Whining" after the sale - If you're into Vintage Audio Equipment, you already know what you're getting into with this.

Questions

I have tried to provide as much detailed information about the Model 1200B as I can think of - I'm sure there are things that I have not included - If you have questions - Please Ask Them - I will do my very best to answer all of them
