Group of seven antique Japanese postcard views featuring the Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line) steamship Hakuai Maru, including one card depicting the Kosai Maru and Hakuai Maru as Red Cross hospital ships during the Russo-Japanese War (1904–05).

This coordinated early 20th century postcard series includes scenic and port views from Yokohama, Kobe, Nagasaki, Hankow (China), Mount Fuji/Shizu-ura, and Japanese coastal channels, each paired with an image of the NYK steamship. A wonderful group for collectors of maritime history, Japanese ephemera, Russo-Japanese War material, or Old Asia postcards.

Likely Meiji/Taisho era, circa 1905–1915. Printed in black and white with divided-back postcard formats. Unused.

Condition varies with age and storage. Cards show typical edge wear, light corner wear, surface marks, and age toning consistent with antique postcards. Please review photos carefully for condition details.

A visually striking and historically interesting lot tied to one of Japan’s most important early steamship lines.
