Spooners Inspection Car/Boat Coach - Maroon - For OO9 Scale Model Railways. 

The model is in very good condition.

This model has been sprayed, and has been sitting on my 'to complete' shelf for over a year now. I don't need the model for my layout, so it's up for sale. It's been sprayed to a very nice standard - Metal wheelsets have been fitted, but NO couplings. Still requires a little paintwork to be completed - The main bodywork of maroon has had 3 spray coats, just little details to finish off.

A replica of one of the more unusual passenger vehicles to travel on the Ffestiniog Railway. The boat is a four-person, sail-powered vehicle which was built before 1864 as an inspection vehicle for the Spooner family. It travelled downhill by gravity and could be sailed across the Cob. The original was wrecked in 1886 when it crashed into a train. The modern replica is used on special occasions only.

The model will come in a generic plastic case.
