Sunbeam Rapier Series 3A, Pillarless Coupe 1962, with Factory Overdrive. First registered 07/ 09/ 1962 in Sage Green and Velvet Green a beautiful colour scheme, with beautiful green interior. Twin Carburettors sound lovely on this whisper quiet engine, but a nice little rasp when the pedal is down.
Its had thousands spent on it, previous owner 35 years, lots of paperwork. the only welding i can see is new sills, apart from that this car is solid underneath and as clean as a whistle. The engine bay is beautiful with no expense spared in that department. The engine has covered 86, 000 miles but has been rebuilt at some part of its life. Recently had a full oil change inc gearbox, its also had new anti syphon valves to the carb with new gaskets. Clutch is very good, and brakes have had a recent overhaul. Carpets are new recently, headlining is like new, seats are lovely too. All 4 windows operate as they should. 5 brand new Whiteband Tyres last week, (USA Made so the best quality). Original jack and brace in the boot. The bodywork is in lovely condition with a few little blisters in places but not bad enough to repair, dont forget this is a 1962 vehicle, its not a show winner but would definitely hold its stand at any car show. Both Fog and Spot lamp mounted at front work, as does all the other lights etc. Paperwork is abundance inc old log books, tax discs etc, drivers handbook and workshop manuals. Theres some spares to go with the car and a new cover. This car been garaged and clearly loved pretty much all its life, Please remember this is NOT a 2 year old car. but it does look awesome and drives beautifully. Beautiful Sporting Coupe. Spares include NOS Complete exhaust system (not needed), a box of filters, leads, new engine mounts with other odds and ends collected by previous owner, the spare in the boot is in good condition with the add of a brand new whiteband as seen in photos.

The car has received a ceramic coating at the cost of £300 a short while ago, this process protects the paint  with a shine like glass.

This was listed last week by the previous owner i bought it off, nice chap, sadly the Arthritis in my feet wont allow me to drive it, so hence the sale to get my money back and back to an Automatic. Very sad sale as i love this car and its a nice one too.
