TEAC LP-R550USB is a versatile CD recorder with turntable and cassette player that allows you to transfer all your records, cassettes, and CDs via USB to your computer. Released around 2011, this multi-format all-in-one recording station enables dubbing valuable sound sources such as nostalgic analog records and live performance tapes to CD-R/RW for music storage. The record section is compatible with 33/45/78 rpm speeds, and by using the replacement stylus for SP discs (SPL-102 diamond, sold separately), more faithful SP disc playback is possible.
The unit features belt-drive turntable with DC servo motor for stable operation, and includes two styli: STL-103 sapphire (for EP/LP records) and optional SPL-102 diamond (for SP discs). The cassette deck uses 4-track 2-channel stereo format for high-quality playback. The radio tuner supports both AM and FM reception (FM 76.0MHz-90.0MHz, AM 522kHz-1629kHz). The integrated amplifier section achieves 3.5W+3.5W output with 50Hz-20kHz frequency response, and speakers use full-fledged bass reflex type with 76mm dual units for powerful bass reproduction.
The USB terminal (B-type, output level adjustable) on the top panel enables connection to personal computer for recording audio from analog records, cassette tapes, and AM/FM radio on your computer using included MusiCut™ plus for TEAC software and Easy Recording Guide. You can record LPs and tapes without using a computer by burning them directly on CD-R or CD-RW. The CD recorder plays CD-DA/CD-R/CD-RW (12cm) and records music CD-R/CD-RW. The unit includes RCA audio input/output, 3.5mm headphone jack, and wireless remote control RC-1259.
