You are looking at a very rare Heuer. This watch pre-dates the TAG Heuer merger. You don't see this model often. I have only had one in 30 years of collecting. This is the all black Heuer Pilot 510.501 men's model watch. This watch is equipped with the Lemania 5100 automatic movement. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 TAG Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This survivor is a men's size Heuer watch with a case size of about 42mm (44mm crown included). The crystal is in good condition with several light scratches. The back casing is in good condition with several light wear scratches. The bracelet is the original TAG Heuer black PVD coated stainless steel band. It is in good condition with light PVD wear and scratches. It was completely normal for Heuer watch heads to be married with TAG bands at the time of the merger. As a collector, I actually prefer this combination because the Heuer heads are more valuable and the TAG bands are engineered better.  The crown is the original signed Heuer crown. The casing looks very good with light wearing & patina of the PVD coating. The bezel is in very good condition with light scratches. The hands & hour markers look very good to excellent. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 8.75 out of 10 in condition (as compared to other 510.501 models). These are hard to grade since you don't see many for sale. This is the nicest example of an original 510.501 Heuer that I have seen in a long time. Most are beat up, but not this one. The watch is all original and will fit up to a 7.95 inch wrist on the original band. I do not have extra links for the original band. This model has an automatic Lemania 5100 movement. All time and date functions work accurately. It has always kept accurate time. This model has the day & date function. This model is not to be worn in water.
