I believe this figurine is a Quail and definitely from the Pheasant family!! The wood is very hard and dense but I am not a wood expert so I do not know the type for certain!! It is not signed and I am guessing it is from the Southwestern US!! Approx. 7" high X 3.5" X 2.5" at the base!! Please see my many other art and collectible figurine listings and email me with any questions!!
