Beautiful romantic floral gilt card holder for a lady's desk set produced in Trenton, NJ by Lenox. Decorated with lovely meticulously painted roses and wildflowers in striking shades of pinks and blues on a crisp white ground. The edges are scalloped and decorated with gold scrollwork and trim. A truly exceptional, early, hard-to-find heirloom piece of Lenox work and artistry.

Measures

4 3/8" long across the feet at the base; 3 1/2" high to the furthest point; 2 1/2" wide

CAC wreath transitional mark in lavendar with Lenox beneath. Believed to be before 1896.

Very nice antique condition with strong pattern and a nice silky glaze. The area between the two feet is a matte finish. Overall, the gilt is good. There is one light area of discoloration, a glaze pop, and a pottery dimple done during manufacture of the piece.
