Here is a 1954 Hermes 2000 typewriter. Serial Number 2,105,223. Made in Switzerland, this is an extremely high quality typewriter and all of the functions function. It is in as-found condition and it will need to be cleaned, properly lubricated and a new ribbon in order to be optimal. The typewriter has not been cleaned or serviced in any way, but it seems to be complete and fully operational. The case, after 72 years of doing its job of protecting it contents, is in excellent condition. It secures the typewriter and closes properly, securely. There is no damage to the case or the typewriter. Comes with a newer, re-printed operational manual. Keven R.
