As part of Meshuggah, lead guitarist Fredrik Thordendal helped launch a whole new music genre, expanding the electric guitar's potential for the modern era. For this new formula of innovative techniques and extended ranges to advance, picks must likewise take an evolutionary step forward. We worked with Fredrik to take that step, and the resulting pick is the perfect complement to his complex, polyrhythmic compositions. We blended a space-age stiffener with Dunlop Nylon for an extra snappy attack, and then we added a super aggressive grip for ultimate control. At a custom .96mm gauge, Fredrik's pick retains just the right amount of flexibility he needs to move smoothly from note to note.
