Description
SONY TC-WR750 is a twin reverse cassette deck inheriting the sound quality-oriented design of the TC-WR950, released in 1987 at ¥59,800. This double compact cassette deck features auto reverse with 4-track, 2-channel stereo system and 4.75 cm/s tape speed. The B deck recording/reproducing head is equipped with a laser amorphous head with improved sound quality by adopting LC-OFC winding, delivering exceptional audio fidelity. To improve sound quality during high-speed dubbing, it adopts a super bias method with bias frequency set at 210kHz (twice the conventional frequency).
The deck features auto standby function, allowing B deck to automatically enter recording pause position when operating A deck during normal-speed dubbing, enabling selective editing and skipping unwanted tracks. Direction mode switch offers three modes: single-side recording/playback, both sides 1-cycle recording/playback, and both sides 1-cycle recording/continuous cycle playback without switching tape direction.
*Deck A can play, fast forward, and rewind, but there is no sound from the right channel. Deck B works without any problems; it can play, fast forward, and rewind.
