The Liberty Five Cent (or "V Nickel") design was minted in two varieties: without the word CENTS on the reverse, for the first part of 1883, and with the word CENTS on the reverse 1883-1912.

The coin has some hairline scratches.

Because it did not say "Cents", some of the first variety in 1883 were gold plated and passed as 5 dollar gold pieces.  At least some of the swindlers even imitated the reeding of a gold coin, to assist in passing them.  (I once owned one that was gold plated and "reeded"--but it was the variety with CENTS on the reverse!!)

Accurate Customs documentation will be attached to international shipments.

Under recent rule changes, the Post Office defines all international merchandise shipments as packages, regardless of whether they are in envelopes.  Shipping for Canada, Australia and the UK depends upon how you wish for it to be shipped: (1) Registered Mail will cost about $38; or (2) First Class Mail International package (insured via a non-Post Office insurer) will cost about $19 ($17 for Canada) (postal rates effective 1/21/24). Additional items can be added to the package with no additional shipping charge.

30 day return privilege for any reason, provided that the coin holder has not been opened.
