This is a factory console mounted 6,000 RPM tachometer that is original to a 1961 Chrysler 300 letter car. This tach was made for Mopar by Stewart Warner. The Stewart Warner model number ink stamped on the back of the tach is 531D as shown. The date code is E1 which decodes as January, 1961. There is also an ink stamped date of Jan 18 '61 as shown. I believe the same or a very similar tach was used in the 1960 and 1962 models. Please confirm your specific application.

This tach is in good unrestored condition overall. The dial is clean and chrisp with no corrosion or damage. The lens is real glass and free of defects other than some light debris on the inside. The front bezel shines well with a few dents as shown. All 3 mounting tabs are intact. The back of the tach is also very clean with the original wiring intact with the connector. The input spins smoothly and nmoves the needle as it shoud. I tested this tach and it works well through the dial and returns to zero as it should. I am also including the original cable housing which needs restoration and a new cable. This is a very hard to find factory Mopar console mounted tachometer. Don't miss it.

This is your chance to own the original Chrysler 300 letter car console mounted tachometer you have been searching for at a GREAT PRICE. Don't Miss Out!
