Extremely rare, maybe one of a kind in this complete condition. The Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge SDUK 1940 publication The Stars in Six Maps on The Gnomonic Projection and The Terrestrial Globe in Six Maps. This publication is complete with all 12 hand colored maps present as well as committee, Explanation and list of works pages. Original twine binding is in place.  There is obvious age and wear, sign of moisture exposure etc. Item is as pictured and more pictures, details available on request. I am not a rare book/ephemera expert, just lucky enough to have come across this rarity and hoping to put it in the hands of a collector who will appreciate it.
