For your consideration is a very rare all matching morning suit made by Dudley Beck of Chester which today is called DAKS. The reason this is rare apart from it being all matching is the fact that it’s near impossible to find any Dudley Beck garments from this time with his label in it.
The coat is made from a dark grey micro herringbone cloth and features a one button configuration with a shank button, & working cuff buttonholes.
The trousers feature a high rise waist, double forward pleats, buttons for braces, fish-tail back, & button fly front.
The waistcoat condition is commensurate with its age and is very well used and is in need of attention, the buttonholes need repairing and there are several stains/light spots on the front. It features a 5 button front, backless style and is done in a buff grey colour. (Please refer to pictures.)
