I purchased this piece about 30 years ago from Prescott Arizona. I've had it on my desk and used it to corral small objects trying as best as I could to be tender with it. 
Kathleen Dewakuku has been making pottery from the 60s and comes from a family of Hopi pottery makers. Using the same techniques and processes as her ancestors did hundreds of years ago, this handcrafted piece is a timeless treasure.
