American Belleek Handpainted Floral Vase

Early, romantic American Belleek floral flared-rim baluster vase by Lenox produced in Trenton, NJ. Masterfully painted muli-toned gradient ground fades from pale yellow to lavender/pink at the neck and midsection, and then is finished in ochre-gold tones at the foot. A cluster of large, open cabbage roses in various shades cascade from the rim to the pedestal base. The rim is finished with hand-applied gold trim.

11" high; 2 1/2" and 3" rim and base diameter, respectively

CAC wreath mark in lavender with Lenox Glen Iris beneath. c 1896-1906.

Very nice antique condition with intact pattern and lush silky glaze. The gilt does not appear to show any wear.
