Vintage bead necklace made in England.
The necklace is composed of two different types of beads:
– Glossy yellow beads made of bakelite (phenolic resin)
– Matte olive-green beads made of early plastic / casein (untested)
Original vintage clasp stamped “MADE IN ENGLAND”.
Graduated oval and cylindrical beads in alternating colours.
Strung on replacement clear cord.
Period: circa 1930s–1950s
Condition: Good vintage condition. Minor surface wear consistent with age.
No cracks or repairs observed.
This is not amber and not pressed amber.
