Critical Usage Notes

  • Reverse Thread (Left-Hand Thread) Reminder: The Honda large CVT secondary cylinder 48mm nut is reverse threaded. Loosen clockwise, tighten counterclockwise. Do not apply force blindly to avoid thread and shaft damage.
  • Model Exclusion: This 48mm tool only fits large chain-type CVT. 1.5L naturally aspirated small CVT models (Fit, City, Grace) are NOT applicable. Main cylinder lock nut requires a separate 46mm socket.
  • Torque Operation: Use matched torque wrenches or standard pneumatic tools; avoid over-torque to prevent nut deformation.
