This is a vintage Stewart Warner round 5 gauge panel. The Stewart Wanrer model number is 543AA and the date code is D5. The date decodes as May 1960(or 1935). I believe this style gauge cluster was popular in boats of the era like Chris Craft, Garwood, Riva, etc. This style panel was also popular in hot rods of the era. This panel used the more unique back/rear mount gauges as shown. These panels rarely come up for sale. Don't miss this awesome example.
This gauge panel is in very nice original condition as shown. It appears to be totally complete. It has a 5,000 RPM tach in the center along with oil pressure, amps, temp, and fuel gauge along the outer diameter. The panel itself is quite nice and is made to mount from the back of a 6 inch hole. The chrome is quite nice as shown. The lens is real curved glass and is in great shape with light scratching. The gauges all have bright, vibrant dials. The back of the panel looks great with part numbers ink stamped and every gauge.. The last few pictures show the tachometer being tested. This panel would be great for a vintage boad, hot rod, or custom. It could be used as is for a display in your garage, shop, office, or mancave. This is a very cool true vintage Stewart Warner gauge panel.
