This balancer is in good unrestored condition as shown. This is a true vintage piece. This came off of a LS7 454 crate engine that was taken apart to freshen it up in the 80's and was never put back together. I used plastic media to strip most of the paint off without altering the original finish. The seal area is excellent with no worn groove. The rubber is in very nice shape. All threads are in good condition. There are some light hammer tap marks from the balancer being reinstalled that will be hidden by the pulley once installed. This is a very nice factory high performance balancer.
