This is a vintage set of Owens Flagship gauges. hese came to me out of an estate and I am not sure of their age or working condition. I believe these are from the 40's or 50's and were likely made by a company like Stewart Warner or Moto Meter. I believe these style gaugs were popular in boats of the era like Chris Craft, Garwood, Riva, etc with the gauge faces being tweaked a bit for each different manufacturer. These style gauge were also popular in hot rods of the era. These gauge are the "back mount" style that attach from the back of the dash. They came to me with the wood dash panel but it is split in half as shown. You are welcome to the wood panel but it will increase the shipping cost due to the size. I could also trace a template from the wood panel so you can make a new one. Just let me know. Don't miss this awesome example.
These gauges look to be in good unrestored condition overall as shown. One of the hour meters is missing parts as shown. All the other gauges appear to be complete as shown. The faces look quite nice overall with some debris inside the lenses as shown which should clean up nicely. The chrome has some oxidation that should clean up well with some steel wool and vinegar or your special technique. The backs of the gauges are pretty grimey as shown and look like they will clean up nicely with some work. These gauges are all untested and sold for parts or repair. Don't miss htese awesome vintage gauges.
