Ticket stub from "Lindbergh Reception" held at Boston Arena on July 22, 1927. This event followed closely after Lindbergh's successful transatlantic flight on the Spirit of St. Louis.

On May 21, 1927, Charles Lindbergh completed the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight in history, flying between Roosevelt Field on Long Island, NY, and Le Bourget Field in Paris, France, in 33 hours, 30 minutes. When he landed, he became a world hero who would remain in the public eye for decades. Throughout the rest of the year, banquets would be held in his honor all across the country.

Lindbergh would fly his plane to each stop - often attending luncheons and a variety of events in each city. This is the first such ticket stub from this tour that we can locate.
