Vintage unused “Keepsake Needlework” cross-stitch embroidery kit by Jane Snead Samplers, formerly located in Philadelphia, PA. The company was in operation from the 1960’s through the 1990’s.

Thread colors used: Green, Black, Blue and Dark Pink.

Kit number 344: Treasure Sampler

A beautiful motto sampler featuring the saying, “To receive a gift is truly a pleasure, But isn’t the giver receiving the treasure”.

Address on instruction sheet uses a 2-digit zip code which dates this sampler kit prior to 1963.

Framed Size: 16 inches by 20 inches.

Each Sampler Kit contains: Sampler clearly printed on Imported Pure Linen; Complete and easy-to-follow directions including color chart; Sufficient Embroidery Floss to complete sampler; Mounting and Framing instructions. Made in U.S.A.

Condition: New (old stock). Never used. The plastic bag and paper instruction sheet show signs of wear due to age. The sampler and thread inside are clean and like new.

Each Jane Snead sampler is an original design and each pattern was silk-screened by hand onto 100% pure Belgian linen. The embroidery floss used for the stitching is J&P Coats 100% pure cotton thread.
