Many items are "antique" and not necessarily in perfect or mint condition - we are talking about 100+ years old, and they have been cherished in prior collections. To enlarge an image, please click on it. I photograph at very high resolution so a small blemish might appear huge when in fact you'd need a very strong magnifying loupe to even see it. Variations between online images and the actual item may be present. . I DO NOT weigh thimbles by carat weight. If known, I will include the fineness marking as stamped on the item - example. 10K, 14K, and so on.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF EBAY'S NEW POLICY: "Auction sales are final. Once an auction ends and they’ve won, cancellations are disabled and the order is considered final. US buyers will no longer be able to submit cancellation requests after winning auctions." However, if upon receipt of your item you find fault, please contact me as soon as possible. Perhaps we can work something out. Don't just go leaving neutral or negative feedback as the same will be left for you.

If you are bidding on multiple items that close on the same day -- like items can be combined into one shipment. Books ship Media Mail (USPS) and cannot be combined with thimbles or needlework tools. Unfortunately USPS shippng rates have increased and therefore, my shipping rates must go up. Every package is driven to the Post Office for mailing.

Shipping: Packages are mailed out using the US Postal Service. Although I pack items with the utmost care and with ample padding, breakage can occur due to poor handling by the Postal Service. If you have not purchased additional insurance, I am not responsible for the damage. Items are inspected prior to packaging and leave me in the condition as stated in the listing.
