Set of 3 3/4" tall Common Prayer and Proper Lessons in open top slipcase - found in England
Inside cover of Proper Lessons a name and the date of 1848 is crossed out and the name "Eliza Cousens ... 1852 " is written.
Beautifully tooled boards and gilt edges.
Slipcase is quite worn, particularly around the edges. Common Prayer is very worn including cracked hinges and loose pages - obviously much used. Proper Lessons is not so worn. Please view all photos.
