For consideration is a Tohono O'odham Basket Vase. It measures just over 5 inches tall and 6.5 inches in diameter. On the base is a label (which is stapled on) which has the makers name: Laura Martina. The Tohono O'Odham Indian Baskets are all handmade. The various materials used are: Bear Grass for filler in coil, Yucca for the white or green cover, and Devils Claw. Some refer to this tribe as Papago of southern
Arizona.
