This is an original example of an old Railway signal lamp reservoir brass screw fit cap as used in the steam days , Stamped BR(W) to the top The design originated with the Great Western Railway & would complete that old GWR - BR(WR) internal signal lamp . Measures 21.5 mm diameter and the thread is a standard size 18mm dia
