Sunlight: Prefers Bright, Indirect Light. Avoid harsh, direct midday sun, which can burn the delicate pitchers.
Watering: Crucial for success! Use ONLY rainwater, distilled water, or reverse osmosis water. Conventional tap water contains minerals that can be fatal to carnivorous plants. Keep the growing medium consistently moist.
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity. It is an excellent candidate for a terrarium or a humid sunroom.
Feeding: Do NOT use traditional fertilizers. The plant gets its nutrients from catching small insects in its pitchers.
Soil: Must be planted in a nutrient-poor, well-draining medium such as long-fiber sphagnum moss or a specific carnivorous plant mix (peat/perlite/moss).
