Imperial Russian Porcelain Plate – Nicholas II Era (1894–1917) – Gatchina Palace Service – c.1915
A beautiful and historically significant Imperial Russian porcelain service plate, produced by the renowned Imperial Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg during the reign of Tsar Nicholas II (1894–1917).
This elegant piece is believed to be from the Gatchina Palace Service, dating to around 1915 and features a finely detailed hand-painted Imperial double-headed eagle. The eagle is depicted with downturned wings and bears the shield of St. George on its chest, holding a laurel wreath and torch—symbols of victory and honor. The motif reflects a variant of the imperial coat of arms used during the period of Alexander I.
The plate is finished with a refined gilt rim, adding a subtle yet sophisticated touch of luxury.
