Sunn Model T 1973-74

Welcome to Vintage Emporium. You're looking at a Sunn Model T 1973-74. This amp puts out 100 watts of rock and roll power through 4 6550 power tubes. This is the highly sought after 1st generation model and are quite rare to find. Using the serial number of 36000, we date it as late 73 or 74. This amp also has the original transformers, new tubes, and has been recently serviced. One feature that is particularly useful is the output impedance switcher from 2,4,6, and 16 ohms allowing you to easily experiment with different cabinets and speaker configurations.

Beloved by guitarists and bassists alike, the Sunn Model T is a legendary amp used by Joe Walsh, Josh Homme, Kurt Cobain, Scott Shriner(Weezer), Joe Trohman(Fall Out Boy) and many more. This amp has a wide variety of tones from beautiful cleans, gritty distortion, and over the top doom metal glory. This amp is in great shape considering its over 50 years old. It's working perfectly and sounds incredible. One of the best sounding amps we've had in the shop. Will surely have its next owner in tone heaven.

Rated a 7 on the condition scale based on exterior condition and functionality. The amp shows mild use, with the tolex having some minor pilling in areas. Has been serviced and is working flawlessly.
